Aalu Quick fix

Hi.
I know people practically standing on the weighing scale the whole day, week, month , life won't like the idea of eating potatoes. Well .... I wish I was one of those people who could ignore tummy calls . No I can't. And here I am with a potato recipe. I call it Aalu quick fix.

Ingredients in this recipe are randomly selected from what is available in your kitchen and you can repeat this dish without potatoes . Here is what I did today.

Ingredients

3  Boiled potatoes ( pealed and smashed) !!! Don't mash'em
2  Table spoon oil (any)
1  Spicy green Chilli Chopped ( skip if you like)
1  Table spoon Cumin seeds
2  Tea spoon Red Chilli powder ( Don't be exact. Use your taste. A little less a little more on you)
    Salt to taste.
    Fresh Coriander leaves Chopped roughly.
Anything to add on ( Your wish really . Don't be shy to pop in some boiled peas or corn or some dhania chutney you made )

Method:

1. Heat the Oil.
2. Pop in Cumin and let it crackle . Believe me You want to be careful Not to burn cumin seeds .
3. Put in Green chilli chopped and put in red chilli powder and put in some water followed by salt. Oh yes! Your kitchen smells Spicy.
4. Put in half of chopped coriander and potatoes. And yes the add ons. Really anything you have at home.
5. Now add a little more water to cook everything properly. Let it dry or keep it Gravy .
 6. EAT

Aalu quick fix is a better option than to search for some left overs in the fridge. It hardly takes 15 minutes to prepare if you have potatoes boiled in the Fridge. I dint say you won't need a Fridge.

Note: If you use this recipe please share your inputs , variations, and details. All the readers would be glad to  read notes on improvement. See ya and Keep Munching  :D
